Personal Enrichment  

Social Media & Content Creation: Telling Your Story Online | Wednesdays, Jan. 14, 21, 28 and Feb. 11, 2026, 6-7:30 p.m.  | Royal Oak Campus  

Perfect for small business owners, hobbyists and digital beginners.  This four-week course teaches participants how to create authentic content that connects with audiences and builds community.    

Sewing Fundamentals II: Intermediate| Thursdays, Jan. 15–March 12, 2026, 5:30-8:30 p.m. | Southfield Campus

Explore fabric composition, drape and structure while using commercial patterns to construct a complete garment. Students will create patch pockets, buttonholes, finish seams and more, with a professional touch.  

Crochet for Beginners| Jan. 15–March 5, 2026, 6-8 p.m.| Southfield Campus 

This beginner-friendly eight-week course covers basic stitches, how to read patterns, and simple functional project completion.   

Sewing Fundamentals – Special Project: You & Your Dog | Tuesdays, March 10–April 28, 2026, 5:30-8:30p.m. | Southfield Campus 

Create two custom-fit jackets for your dog in this unique, creative course that celebrates skill-building and style. 

The Cultivated Conservationist | March 14, 21 and 28, 2026, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. | Auburn Hills Campus 

This gardening series introduces participants to native, nativar, exotic and invasive plants, with a focus on why and how to incorporate native plants.  

Youth and Families 

Marvelous Manners Camp | Feb. 20, 2026,11 a.m.-1 p.m. | Orchard Ridge Campus  

Designed for children ages 8-12, this interactive class builds confidence, essential social skills and modern manners through games, role-playing and group activities. Participants will be introduced to concepts focused on growth mindset, respectful communication, leadership, being their best self and table manners.
